Thank you Dubai for a very productive week and the opportunity to meet a ton of great people who make the space better. Despite not being a fan of Dubai, I appreciate that it’s a melting pot for our industry and that it is a bridge for many of the good people that are building. Some further takeaways for my week at @token2049 1. The venue for the conferences was amazing but the event was hugely oversubscribed. It was crowded and overall, unpleasant. There was very little opportunity to connect with projects. Quite surprising because every other Token event has been the opposite. 2. The best part of this conference were the side events. Not the expensive and flashy ones but the small, down to earth ones that allowed for people to connect meaningfully. @0xdetweiler with the understated Turkish restaurant and killer crew. Absolute fire. @OstiumLabs with the near impossible venue to find and intimate gathering. Don’t ever change, no matter how successful you guys become. @snow949494 and her team, bridging the divide between Chinese market and Western market. You are a rock star! Great to meet @sircryptotips and @blockchainchick, you guys are awesome. @DarrenCamas you ser are a gem. So very cool to finally meet. 3. Not enough people read the amazing content we produce at blocmates. We still have so much work to do. 4. The future of this space is supremely bright with incredible projects being worked on. I will post a list of my favourites in the coming days. I am now off to Vienna for the @SonicLabs summit. We are going to have a lot of fun and record a lot of alpha for you all.
