How do I change my login password?

On the App

I remember my login password

1. Open your OKX app and go to User Center

   

   Select User Center at the top left corner

2. Select Profile and Settings and find Security center under Settings

3. In Password and biometrics, find Login password

4. Fill in the information below and confirm:

   • Current login password

   • New login password

     • 8-32 characters long

     • 1 lowercase character

     • 1 uppercase character

     • 1 number

     • 1 symbol

   • Phone / Email verification code / Google Authenticator code

5. An email/SMS notification will be sent out once changed successfully

Note: the withdrawal function will be unavailable for 24 hours if you log in with new devices after you have changed the login password

I forgot my login password

1. Select Forgot your password on the Login page

   

   Forgot your password on the login page

2. Enter your phone number or email address and select Confirm

3. Fill in the below information to Reset password:

   • Password

     • 8-32 characters long

     • 1 lowercase character

     • 1 uppercase character

     • 1 number

     • 1 symbol

   • Phone / Email verification code / Google Authenticator code

4. Select Continue after entering the verification code

5. Your New password will be updated and direct you to the login page to re-enter your account info and new login password

6. An email/SMS notification will be sent out once changed successfully

Note: the withdrawal function will be unavailable for 24 hours if you log in with new devices after you have changed the login password

I remember my login password

1. Log in to your account at okx.com and go to the security center (Profile icon > Security)

2. In Authentication methods, find Login password, and select Change password

   

   Find login password on the security center page

3. Fill in and confirm your current password, new password, 2FA code (if any) to continue

   

   Change login password

4. An email/SMS notification will be sent out once changed successfully

1. Open okx.com login page and select Forgot password

2. Enter your phone number or email address and select Get verification code

3. Select Continue after entering the verification code

4. Enter your 2-factor authentication code (if any)

5. Update your New password:

   • 8-32 characters long

   • 1 lowercase character

   • 1 uppercase character

   • 1 number

   • 1 symbol

6. Once it's been modified, selecting Continue to login will direct you to the login page to re-enter your email/phone and new password

7. An email/SMS notification will be sent out once changed successfully
