Blaming community for being toxic is not the solution. Been 6 months since rebrand from FTM to $S
Even though PA is not something I comment on usually, it's a great representation of sentiment, communication and workings of the project.
The fact that FTM/ $S is one of the oldest EVM and not even a single ecosystem project has managed to break through and get a listing on tier 1 exchange is very concerning.
Being a top tier layer 1 and projects like $SHADOW doing >60% of volume and >80% of fees could not go beyond the Sonic echochamber.
Even with these numbers the exchange was not able to make an impact beyond Sonic ecosystem
Projects like
@paint_swap , @ShadowOnSonic , @beets_fi @HeyAnonai @wagmicom @SiloFinance are pillars of $S ecosystem.
They have kept the chain alive, communities of these projects are the sole voice which forward the narrative of the foundation.
Shrugging them off and labelling there community toxic is backfiring now.
Right now the $S Sonic foundation seems like they are without a cohesive team.
Leaders like Andre who represented the vision and ethos of the project have been quiet since past 3 months. Not even a single original post about Sonic.
Only Sonic Assistant seems to be running the whole project. Kong was never vocal but as a CEO he should lead by example.
All we see is just few reposts here and there.
Enough people have left $S community and now projects are exiting as well, while Foundation is turning a blind eye towards community concern.
This never ends well.
