Higher oil + rising Treasury yields are pressuring BTC. On Aug. 14, Brent hit $88.52 (+1.67%) and the 10Y yield reached ~4.69%, while weak retail sales added conflicting signals. �

The key is oil + yields together: sustained oil above $88 and 10Y near 4.7% could keep risk assets, including BTC, under pressure. But it’s too early to attribute the entire move to Hormuz.
