What's limit order in DEX?
OKX DEX supports limit orders, so you can place an order at your target price without keeping an eye on the market. This feature currently supports trades on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, X Layer, Robinhood, Ink, and Solana.
Limit order Swap is currently not available on the web platform, but remain accessible in the OKX App.
On the web
Select the crypto you want to trade, open its market page on the web, and select Limit in the order panel
Select the payment crypto, enter the swap amount, set the Trigger price, and select Place limit order
Select Current orders to view Order history
On the app
Open your Web3 wallet, then go to DEX > Swap > Limit
Select the network, payment crypto, and receiving crypto, enter the swap amount, set the Trigger price, and select Place limit order
Select Current orders to view Order history
Note: your limit buy order executes when the market price equals the specified price plus the network fee.
How do I view or modify my order?
Select the history icon to view your transaction history
To cancel the trade, select the relevant transaction, then select Cancel in the transaction details
How do I cancel a DEX limit order?
Limit orders are valid for 30 days by default and can only be canceled manually before they're filled.
On the app
Open your Web3 wallet, then go to DEX > Swap > Limit > … > Transaction history. Select the relevant order, then select Cancel.
On the web
Select Current orders, find the relevant order, then select Cancel.
Note:
Network fees are charged only when an order is executed.
Placing or canceling orders doesn't incur network fees, except on the Solana network.
When the market price reaches your order price, the platform may execute the sale at a slightly higher price than your order, and a network fee will be charged based on the amount sold.
