Knotzies seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of a node’s role in Bitcoin. If you think that your node is “strengthening” the network by merely letting it run, you’ve been bamboozled.
Even worse, if you’re filtering txns that easily get into blocks, anyways, your node is actually a menace to the network and should be black-listed by peers. It’s no longer fulfilling its role as a node. It’s “weakening” the network, actually.
