$KEYCAT launched over a year and a half ago 555 days ago, to be exact It’s still sitting on a $30M+ market cap and survived multiple takedown attempts When the first memecoins emerged in spring 2023, it was unthinkable to loudly affirm that memecoins would last more than a couple weeks. They were supposed to be quick pump and dumps organized by the few desperates still in crypto at that time Many faded the ethereum memes era, which gave birth to icons like $pepe, $mog, $spx and others Many even faded the pre pumpfun solana era with $wif, $retardio etc Yet in 2025 multiple memecoins are still in the magnitude of hundreds of millions and even billions in market cap. This was possible because those few desperates had an intuition: if everything that was backed by utility (in that reason considered solid and reliable) can nuke hard anyways, fuck utility, it’s irrilevant to the price action This industry is a joke so we act accordingly. This attitude has been the initial driver of the first memecoins run Kind of a financial gamification. But then things got even more out of control: If we can tokenize memes, we can tokenize everything! And by the way, what’s even a meme? Everything can be a meme One point was missing tho: If everything has a value, nothing has a value. If prices are solely determined by momentary hype everything can be 0 or 100 with no actual reason That’s when major corrections and bear markets happen Because the market always finds out its way to determine the fair value of an asset, at your expenses or at your advantage. That said, corrections are also a cleansing opportunity Opportunity to determine who are the ones that are going to last and survive. in 2025 anything can be monetized, but not everything needs to be valuable. In my opinion, internet culture is something that has a reason to be valuable. That substrate once populated exclusively by outcast nerds that ended up shaping the current world we live in today. In this environment of cultural revaluation, it is crystal clear that the cultural pillars of the internet revolution will find their fair value, which I believe will be in the order of billions. We already see it with Doge, Pepe, and Troll. And I think KEYCAT will follow because that’s the league where it belongs. The market always finds its fair value; it's up to you to foresee how much it will be and act accordingly
