I know I will upset lots of $TSLA investors, but however simply repeats that Tesla’s Optimus is miles ahead of the competition is not connected to reality. Look at the video @Benioff posted today and compare it to what @Figure_robot just showed. 👀 Optimus: - is taking 10 seconds to respond to a simple question - does not move until they step at least a meter away - walks pretty slowly - does not show any movement of the hands (which admittedly look very nice, but are those really Optimus’ Gen 3 hands or are they simply covers to avoid competition from copying them?) Figure Gen 2: - shows packaging pick and QR scanning - shows washing machine loading - shows cloth folding - shows dish washer loading (today’s video) In the long term Tesla’s resources and manufacturing experience is likely going to make them a dominant player, yet today Figure is clearly ahead. Disclaimer: I’m long $TSLA and this does not change my thesis, I write as a real time reflection of the status quo.
