OKX will launch USD-margined futures contracts

To support the growth of the USDⓈ ecosystem and meet our users’ diverse trading needs, OKX is introducing the following USD-margined futures at 10:00 am UTC on September 26 2025.

SOLUSD UM Perp

We will begin gradually opening trading permissions for users starting from 10:00 am on October 9, 2025 (UTC), and expect to make them available to all users by 10:00 am on October 16, 2025 (UTC).
This is a USD-margined SOL/USD futures contract. Users can choose to use USD, USDC, or USDG as the settlement currency for these USD-margined futures. The user interface for USD-margined futures will be updated to display as “SOL/USD UM” on both our web and app versions. More USD-margined futures will be listed in the future and will be notified via separate announcements.

At the same time, the user interface for crypto-margined futures will be updated to display as “BTCUSD CM” on both our web and app versions. Please note that this is only a display change and API calls will remain unaffected.
