Next Week:
'Love Bytes' (2025) by @bryanbrinkman Offered as a 1/1 NFT + Lightbox (50×65×7cm) Part of The Paintboxed Exhibition at The Digital Art Mile in Basel (June 16-22). Bryan Brinkman: "'Love Bytes' was inspired by both the inner workings of the Paintbox system and my lifelong connection to graphics cards. While digital art often emphasizes software, it’s the hardware—the unseen circuitry beneath it all—that truly powers the work. In many ways, the motherboard acts as a co-parent to the artwork: holding the system together and giving it life. Creating this piece within Paintbox felt surprisingly similar to traditional painting—deliberate, constrained, and without the luxury of an 'undo' button. I approached it like a blank canvas, building it up chip by chip, wire by wire, until a portrait of the machine’s heart emerged." Below: 'Love Bytes' (2025) by Bryan Brinkman, shown against animated detail views of the work. A photograph by Adrian Wilson and a short video of Bryan Brinkman during the work's creation.
Overall, my minting output was lower to start the year than in the past (~71 minted so far), I spent a lot of energy showcasing past works that people might have missed during the bear market. Lots of projects upcoming too I'm excited to share soon. Looking forward to the 2nd half of 2025.
