Liquid Staking is available on OKX Europe: What BETH and OKSOL Mean for You
Staking your ETH or SOL usually means your crypto is locked up while it earns rewards. Liquid staking changes that: you keep earning, but you also get a token back that you can actually use elsewhere. Starting 16 July 2026, that's exactly what's launching on OKX Europe.

Use as collateral on OKX (at a discount to the underlying asset)
Redeem 1:1 back to ETH/SOL anytime (fast redemption up to a daily limit; above that, standard on-chain redemption applies)
Important note: Joining a campaign and claiming its rewards doesn't affect your eligibility for other campaigns running at the same time.
What Is Liquid Staking?
Normally, when you stake crypto, it's tied up until you redeem it. Liquid staking solves that by giving you a token in return, one that represents your staked position. You keep earning staking rewards as usual, but now you also hold something you can use for other things on the platform, without needing to unstake first.
What's Launching on OKX Europe
From 16 July 2026, 10:00 UTC, OKX Europe will start issuing two new tokens:
OKSOL (OKX Staked SOL), representing SOL staked through OKX
Reward: 5.25%
BETH (OKX Staked ETH), representing ETH staked through OKX
Reward: 2.4%
If you already have ETH or SOL staked with OKX, nothing changes to your underlying position. You'll simply receive BETH or OKSOL in your account at a 1:1 ratio, matching what you already have staked. There's no need to unstake or restake, and your rewards keep accruing without any interruption.
Going forward, staking rewards are paid out as extra BETH or OKSOL instead of ETH or SOL: BETH rewards daily, OKSOL rewards every two days. Each unit of BETH or OKSOL always stays redeemable 1:1 for the underlying ETH or SOL.

What You Can Do With BETH and OKSOL
Once you're holding BETH or OKSOL, you get a few extra options:
Hold and earn. Keep holding, and staking rewards keep landing in your balance as additional BETH or OKSOL.
Use as collateral. BETH and OKSOL can be used as collateral on OKX (at a discount versus the underlying asset), so your staked position can keep working for you elsewhere without needing to redeem it first.
Redeem anytime. Convert BETH or OKSOL back to ETH or SOL at 1:1, whenever you like. Fast redemption is available up to a daily limit; anything above that goes through standard on-chain redemption, which depends on the network's unbonding period.
One thing to note: BETH and OKSOL are in-platform tokens only. They're not listed for spot trading and can't be transferred to other users or withdrawn off the platform.
Key Dates
16 July 2026, 10:00 UTC: New ETH/SOL staking in the EEA region issues BETH/OKSOL directly. Native staking without BETH/OKSOL closes to new subscriptions from this point.
16 July 2026, 10:00 UTC: Existing staked ETH/SOL positions are automatically matched with BETH/OKSOL at 1:1.
What You Need to Do
Nothing. If you're already staking ETH or SOL with OKX, your position is automatically matched with BETH or OKSOL on launch day. From there, you can stake more, use BETH/OKSOL as collateral, or redeem at any time from
Grow > On-chain Earn > ETH Staking / SOL Staking in the app.
