What changes are being made to existing saved addresses?

Withdrawal addresses have been simplified for easier use—there’s no longer a distinction between EVM and Universal addresses. Instead, each address now works for all cryptos within the compatible network, so you don’t need to manage multiple formats. Any previously saved addresses have already been automatically upgraded to match these new rules, ensuring smooth and consistent withdrawals across supported cryptos.

What happens if I have multiple records of the same address?

If you have saved the same address under different address types (Standard/Universal/EVM):

  • All records will be merged into one entry.

    • Example 1:

      • Entry 1: (Standard) Address A

      • Entry 2: (Universal) Address A

      • These addresses will be merged to Entry 2, which allows withdrawals of any crypto selected for a specific network, based on compatibility.

    • Example 2:

      • Entry 1: (Standard) Address A

      • Entry 2: (Universal) Address A

      • Entry 3: (EVM) Address A

      • These addresses will be merged to Entry 3, which allows withdrawals of any crypto selected for EVM compatible networks.

Can you explain how the verification period works with an example?

If you have multiple entries for the same address with different verification statuses, examples:

  • Entry 1: (Standard) Address A is non-verified.

  • Entry 2: (Universal) Address A is verified until next week.

  • Entry 3: (EVM) Address A is permanently verified.

In this case, when the entries are merged, the upgraded address will adopt the permanently verified status. This means users can withdraw to this address without needing the two-factor authentication (2FA) permanently.

Can I still edit the verification status and name of my addresses after the upgrade?

Yes, you can edit your addresses at any time. You have the option to change the verification status and the name associated with the address through the Address Edit option.

Edit your address name after selecting the horizontal ellipsis icon on your preferred address card on the list

What if I have different names for the same address?

In cases where the same address has been saved under different names, the upgraded entry will use the name of the most recently created or updated address. You can still modify this name later if desired.

Will I need to verify my address again after the upgrade?

No, if the upgraded address is verified beforehand, you'll not need to go through two-factor authentication (2FA) for withdrawals. However, you can choose to delete it and save it again as an unverified address if you prefer.
