this has been the experience of nearly everyone building on L2s for the past 24 months.
blast & fenix status pacman has decided to name any app which is not developed by blast team itself as "third party app" and he's disclosed that their main focus will be on building + incentivizing only 1st party apps (Apps which blast team will develop) blast app will be permisionless and anyone will be able to deploy which is cool, and will give new dApps access to a bunch of users and ecosystem nevertheless most of the blast apps have already left, seems like thruster too... (actively long ago imo) we approached team proactively to look for next steps regarding thruster's TVL & assets and a possible migration but no response has been given tbh it's sad to see how much time and dedication we've put into Fenix and Blast itself, the amount of protocols we've onboarded, community growth and push, proposals like the $sUSDe one made to make blast native yield higher, help on other proposals... and get this sort of communication back i can understand why other builders have decided to move on, migrate or shut down for us at current state, we've spent all of our funds developing key ve3,3 infrastructure which for me creates and mixes the best of the current DEXes; - The Fenix Nest - The RISE Programme - Custom Decentralized Emissions Distribution Solution (Perfected Merkl w faster distribution) and with the revenue we generate w our team veFNX we have barely enough to maintain frontend operating i believe blast had and has the potential to become what sonic is now; - sonic -> 90% of fees generated being given back to protocols as $S - blast -> 100% fees back to protocols + Native Yield we could have easily been what shadow is now, if only we would have had more push on the comms/bd side from blast... many times we approached them w ideas such as onboarding of universal assets so that we could onboard the trading of native BTC, ETH, PEPE, SOL, TRUMP and many more assets but it wasn't ever smth they cared about at all we will maintain fenix operating and be as much proactive as we can, like always, but we've already began thinking of a pivot since we cannot dedicate full resources to it soon to be announced, hyena
