Four years deep in the swamp! Happy 4th Ape-iversary @BoredApeYC fam! 🏴‍☠️🦧🏴‍☠️ Still blows my mind how one DM back on May 1st, 2021, kicked off this whole wild ride. If you’d told me then that joining this club would be the second-best decision of my life (right after becoming a mum!), I'd have probably laughed. This community, this feeling of finally, actually belonging is unreal. BAYC & Yuga Labs honestly feel like family. Locked in for life. Yeah, the financial gains been insane (ngl!), but the real wins hit different. From my apes actually saving a human life to sending little girls in Nigeria to school and countless acts of kindness in between. It's wild remembering the start though! Just chilling in the kitchen one afternoon 4 years ago exactly today, phone buzzes … @QuantumVariant asking if I'd seen the apes, “I hear they’re the new punks” he said (we were obsessing about crypto punks the whole year). Next thing I know, I'm frantically swapping fiat to ETH, hands literally shaking as I drop ~$3k on three JPEGs (lol, the early days!). And then I got one extra precious gift from @3LAU I'm hodling forever! ❤️❤️❤️ Never done anything like it, not even a casual gambler! Pure gut feeling. But something just screamed inside: FUCKING GO FOR IT! And so I did! That initial energy was intense. I swear I didn't sleep for 72 hours straight, just lived on Clubhouse connecting with the first wave. Got so deep I literally had ape-themed fever dreams! I vividly remember one where a weird drink turned us all into actual apes! 😱 Seriously wild times. So yeah. Four years. Still buzzing to this date, still grateful, still building alongside this amazing crew. HUGE gratitude and mad love to the OGs @GordonGoner & @CryptoGarga for sparking this whole universe.
