STARL is an Ethereum-based 3D metaverse where users can play games, trade non-fungible tokens (NFTs), socialize with other players, and explore the space-themed virtual world. STARL is the name and ticker symbol of STARL Metaverse's native ERC-20 token.

The STARL metaverse is an adaptation of Warp Nexus, a massively multiplayer online (MMO) game developed by Scott Brown. Initially built using the Unity game development engine, STARL is now redeveloped on Unreal Engine for better and more immersive gameplay. Once the game is fully developed, you can go on battles, complete missions, rent your living modules to others, play adventure games using game portals within the metaverse, and much more.

STARL currently has three NFTs: SATE, Living Modules, and Pixelnauts. SATE NFT, inspired by real-world satellites, is the original collector's item in the STARL metaverse. In addition, collectors can earn up to 20% APR on their SATE NFTs, depending on their orbit type.

Living Modules are virtual real estate NFTs. They are your personal space in the STARL metaverse, where you can store your items, customize character outfits, regain health, and more. The project also plans to allow users to rent their Living Modules to others in return for STARL tokens. Lastly, Pixelnauts are unique PFP NFTs designed and curated by different artists. STARL NFTs are available on the STARL marketplace.

The STARL token is the primary medium of exchange within the STARL metaverse. Users can buy, sell, trade, and modify in-game items using STARL tokens. STARL also functions as the native governance token of the project's DAO.

STARL price and tokenomics

STARL is a fully decentralized project with a total supply of 10 trillion tokens, launched via a fair launch. There were no presales, private unlocks, or team tokens, which might have impacted STARL's price. There were also no fees or development charges for the project.

20.8 billion STARL tokens have been burned, of which project founder Woof Decentra burned 20 billion. STARL reached a $100 million market cap within a month. Moreover, the STARL project clocked $2.6 million within two rounds of their SATE NFT auctions.

About the founders

STARL token was launched on July 1, 2021, by Woof Decentra, the creator of Doge Killer (LEASH) token. The STARL metaverse was born later when Moe Larson, the current project manager of STARL metaverse, reached out to Woof with the idea of creating a space-themed metaverse.

The STARL team consists of over 20 people with experts from various domains. Some notable names include veterans like Shahid Ahmad (ex-Playstation), Markus Krichel (ex-Disney), Scott Bounds (ex-Sony and ex-Lionsgate), and Scott Brown (president and development lead at Wyrmbyte).

STARL partnered with WyrmbyteGames to adapt Warp Nexus to the STARL metaverse. Additionally, the project collaborated with Amoeba Music, the world's largest independent record store, to bring music artists to the STARL metaverse.
