🌍 WTO: Stablecoins are restrained by regulations, not technology The WTO believes stablecoins have great potential in international payments & trade finance, but face a major bottleneck: Stablecoins currently account for about 3% of international payments. Only 39% of surveyed regions have a complete regulatory framework. Cross-border payments using stablecoins have increased 35 times in 4 years. Developing countries could benefit the most from reduced remittance costs but lack legal infrastructure. While governments are still drafting laws, Mastercard & Western Union have already started testing payments with stablecoins. Technology is ahead, the law is catching up 😆.

⚡ Solana increases transaction size more than 3 times Solana deploys Transaction V1, raising the limit per transaction: 1,232 → 4,096 bytes 🚀 Allows processing complex operations within a single transaction. Beneficial for enterprise multisig wallets and applications using ZK proofs. Wallets, exchanges, and analytics platforms will need to update to support the new format. Solana is gradually "unlocking" more features to narrow the gap with Ethereum - while still remaining fast + cheap.
