BTC ETFs have seen net outflows for four straight days, while ETH ETFs attracted $216.4 million in a single day. At the same time, BTC remains around $77,000, as the market enters this week's key FOMC window. The Federal Reserve will meet on September 15–16. Where is the BTC money going? Over the past few days, most people have been watching BTC. But what may matter more is no longer BTC itself. It's this: Capital is starting to diverge. Last Friday, U.S. spot BTC ETFs recorded their fourth consecutive day of net outflows, about $13.29 million. But ETH ETFs attracted $216.4 million on the same day. One is seeing outflows. The other is seeing inflows. What does this mean? At least one thing: Institutional capital isn't simply leaving crypto. It may be choosing a different direction. That's what I've been watching closely: Don't just ask: “Will BTC rise?” Ask: “What is the money buying?” If BTC ETF outflows continue, while ETH ETFs keep attracting capital, and stablecoin liquidity doesn't shrink significantly, the market may be going through a rotation of capital. Of course, this doesn't prove ETH will keep rising. Because the real test is still ahead. The Fed's September meeting is here. Markets are closely watching the rate decision and the policy signals that follow. So I'll be watching three things: BTC: Is capital leaving, or just taking a break? ETH: Can ETF inflows continue? Stablecoins: Is the market's “dry powder” still growing? What really matters isn't which asset rises the most in a single day. It's this: Is capital moving consistently in one direction? One day's inflow may simply be a trade. Sustained inflows may become a trend. The market never tells you the answer in advance. It only leaves data behind. And our job is to understand the data before the price makes it obvious. I don't make calls. I focus on one thing: Where is the money actually going?
