You missed the rotation and failed to catch the sectors that exploded. 2. You entered too late, giving yourself a much higher cost basis. Take WLD at $9 or ORDI at $70. If you bought near those levels and now call them “trash” because you think there is no altcoin season, look at how much they rallied from their lows to their peaks. The better question is: Why didn't you buy when the opportunity was there? These two examples represent localized altcoin seasons—capital rotated into specific narratives rather than lifting the entire market at once. And for those still holding old coins, don't assume every legacy altcoin will eventually return to—or break—its previous all-time high.
