OKC Ecosystem update

  1. After OKC launched the third stage of its ecosystem construction, the total value locked exceeded $2 billion within one week of open deployment.
  2. On Aug. 7, OKC participated in the SmartCon event — hosted by Chainlink. OKX’s Lennix Lai was invited to participate in the conference and gave speeches on OKC and its future development.
  3. OKC officially announced the start of the second season of OKC’s BUIDL IN METAFORCE Hackathon on Aug. 26.
  4. Popular GameFi project Crypto Gladiator launched on OKC. According to data released one day after launching, OKT transaction volume reached 5,600 OKT within 24 hours — with more than 80,000 new players. The highest number of concurrent online players exceeded 12,000.
  5. The total number of transactions on OKC is 25,867,371 — an increase of 368% from the previous month. The cumulative number of proposals is 44 and the number of holder addresses is 1,032,414 — an increase of 282% from the previous month. The number of contracts after deduplication is 7,595 — an increase of 164% from the previous month.
  6. ANKR has built infrastructure services for OKC.
  7. FarmHero — a new DeFi protocol that integrates NFTs, farming and games — launched on OKC on Aug. 6.
  8. D-wallet included OKC, providing users with simple private key management and a minimalist decentralized-application experience.

Risk warning

OKC is an open-source, open decentralized public chain, and anyone can freely deploy projects. From the principle of blockchain technology, OKX cannot control the quality of any project on OKC, nor will it endorse and be responsible for any project.

There are certain risks in using any project on a decentralized public chain. Users need to identify the quality of the project themselves and be responsible for their own choices so as not to cause financial losses.

Before participating in any project on OKC, you need to know:

1. Before using any project on OKC, please confirm that you have understood all the designs behind it and are willing to take its risks;

2. All users and developers can participate in OKC’s mainnet and testnet for free, and OKC will not charge any fees;

3. Please make sure to distinguish between the OKC test environment and the main network environment. All assets in the test environment have no value. Beware of counterfeit currency fraud;

4. In the process of using any OKC chain project, you must manage your private key, do not disclose your private key to anyone, and be careful to authorize third-party projects.
