Enjin is an Ethereum blockchain-based gaming platform that powers a virtual economy using non-fungible tokens, or NFTs. Enjin Coin, which goes by the ticker ENJ, is the name of the protocol's native token — an ERC-20 token that backs the issuance of assets on the Enjin platform. The assets are non-fungible and can be traded, bought and sold with real-world value. Enjin was founded by Maxim Blagov and Witek Radomski in 2009. The team has stated that it aims to enable carbon-neutral NFTs by the year 2030.
