How do I manage my withdrawal address book?
The withdrawal address book lets you save frequently used recipients so you can select them more easily when withdrawing crypto.You can add two types of recipients:
OKX user: another OKX account identified by phone number, email address, sub-account name, or UID.
On-chain address: a blockchain address provided by an external platform or wallet.
How do I add an OKX user?
Use this recipient type when you want to save another OKX user for internal withdrawals.
Open the withdrawal address book and select Add recipient.
Select OKX user.
Select the user information type:
Phone number
Email
Sub-account
UID
Enter the information linked to the recipient’s OKX account.
Enter a recipient name, review the information, and save the recipient.
Withdrawals to OKX users are processed as internal transfers. They don’t require blockchain confirmation or a network fee.
Check the recipient information carefully. An internal withdrawal is credited to the OKX account linked to the phone number, email, sub-account, or UID you enter.
How do I add an on-chain address?
Use this recipient type when withdrawing through a blockchain network to an external platform or wallet.
Open the withdrawal address book and select Add recipient.
Select On-chain address.
Select the network and enter the receiving address. If the destination provides a tag or memo, enter it as well.
Choose how the saved address can be used:
All EVM networks: use the address with supported crypto across supported EVM-compatible networks.
Single network — any supported crypto: use the address with supported crypto on one selected network.
Single network — selected crypto only: restrict the address to one crypto on one selected network.
Enter an address name, select the available verification option, and save the address.
The selected address type controls when the saved address appears in the address book. It doesn’t change the blockchain address itself.If you saved an address using the previous Regular, Universal, or EVM address types, see Address type upgrade FAQ to learn how it was upgraded.
Before saving or using an on-chain address, confirm that the crypto, network, address, and tag or memo match the destination platform or wallet.
How does recipient verification work?
Eligible recipients can be verified for 30 days or permanently, depending on the options available when you save them. How do I edit or delete a saved recipient?
Open the withdrawal address book, locate the recipient, and select the available edit or delete option. Some recipient details may require you to delete the existing entry and add it again.If Allowlist is enabled, you can withdraw only to recipients saved in the address book. Changes to Allowlist or newly added recipients may be subject to additional security restrictions.
