Dear Crypto
It has been close to three years since I started writing about you.
I was a young kid who believed in a new financial system that would change everything as we know it.
I loved DeFi and wanted to share some ideas I had.
I had no clue what I was doing. (Still have no clue).
I remember the first AAVE loan I took.
I remember the insane APYs on Olympus.
I remember spending +$100 on gas fees.
I remember when everything went to shit.
Sometimes I loved you. Sometimes I hated you. But I always believed in you.
I can't imagine what I would be like today if I never met you.
You have humbled me when I was too proud.
You have given me some of the toughest challenges.
Taught me that the most meaningful lessons in life are meant to be hard.
As you become more mainstream and accepted, I hope you stay true to that vision
Of boundless freedom
Of decentralized financial systems
Of a more fair world
