Ethereum scaling is no longer just about launching a Layer-2 network; it is about convincing users and applications to stay. Arbitrum's long-term challenge is translating its developer ecosystem into durable economic activity. Transaction growth matters, but fee generation, liquidity retention, competition from other rollups, and ARB's governance utility deserve separate attention rather than being treated as one bullish signal.
