About Po amerických střednědobých volbách se zvyšují neshody ohledně regulace AI datových center

It took 67 days for $BTC to reach the pre-FTX bankruptcy level. It took only 6 days for BTC to reach the pre-Binance hack level. A strong reason that the cycle bottom is in. #USMidtermAIDataCenterRules

$IREN reports Q1 FY27 after the close tonight, and both Bernstein and B. Riley have cut their price targets while still telling you to own the stock Bernstein just took its target to $55 from $100 after Gina Hinojosa beat Greg Abbott in Texas. B. Riley took its target to $64 from $91 on Oct 30 because rising rates make new builds more expensive to finance Bernstein's cut is about Texas. It says the state is a battleground for AI data centers and accounts for 25% of U.S. data centers under construction More than 50% of the power portfolio among the miner-turned-AI developers it covers sits in Texas, with IREN, Riot, and Cipher the most exposed It expects the September pause on grid connections and environmental permits to stay in place, with any data-center legislation stuck in gridlock, and it also blamed high borrowing costs for AI firms B. Riley's cut is about financing. It thinks the market is assigning near-zero value to future pipeline capacity and pricing a development-stage cost of capital into perpetuity, even though construction financing can serve as bridge capital rather than permanent capital Bernstein still says those names enjoy approved gigawatt-scale capacity, which may be considered scarce and valuable, and B. Riley called the pullback an attractive buying opportunity

This panic makes no sense. Today's market crash looks like a massive overreaction when you look at what's actually happening. Investors are worried that Democrats will use their control of Congress to impose major restrictions on AI, especially data centers. But there are a few important things being overlooked. 1. AI is now a major part of the U.S. economy. According to research from the St. Louis Fed, AI-related investment categories accounted for around 39% of U.S. economic growth during the first three quarters of 2025. Now imagine what happens if the government suddenly introduces restrictions that force companies to cancel data centers, reduce spending and cut thousands of jobs. It wouldn't just hurt Nvidia, AMD or other AI stocks. It could also slow down the entire U.S. economy. And Democrats know this. They have another election coming up in November 2028. If their policies lead to slower growth, fewer jobs and a weaker stock market, voters could punish them in those elections. That's why a complete shutdown of AI development seems highly unlikely. 2. Democrats can't simply pass whatever laws they want. Republicans still control Congress until January 3, 2027. Even after Democrats take over, Trump can veto legislation, and overriding him requires a two thirds majority in both chambers. Democrats don't have enough votes to do that on their own. They can block Republican legislation, but passing major new federal AI restrictions would require Trump's support or enough Republican votes. Of course, state governments can still restrict data center development through permits, electricity rules and other regulations. But regulating the industry and completely stopping its growth are two very different things. 3. Some of this selling could simply be profit taking. Just yesterday, stocks rallied sharply as investors hoped the election results would bring more clarity and possibly improve the chances of ending the Iran war. Now that optimism has disappeared almost overnight. With AI valuations still high and companies spending billions on infrastructure, some investors may be using these rallies to reduce their exposure. That doesn't necessarily mean the entire AI trade is collapsing. 4. Remember the Liberation Day crash in April 2025? The S&P 500 fell around 11% in just two trading days as investors feared a recession and a prolonged trade war. But Trump later paused many of the tariffs. By April 24, the index had recovered more than 10% from its low. And by May 21, it was up roughly 19% from the April bottom. The economic risks hadn't disappeared. Investors simply realized the worst case scenario was becoming less likely. A similar recovery could happen if the proposed AI restrictions turn out to be less severe than investors currently fear. 5. History also favors a recovery after midterm elections. Since 1950, the S&P 500 has NEVER delivered a negative return in the 12 months following a U.S. midterm election. That's 19 consecutive midterms with positive 12 month returns, averaging around 15%. Of course, the Iran war, inflation and expensive AI valuations remain serious risks. But nothing has fundamentally changed overnight to suggest that AI development is about to stop or the entire U.S. economy is heading for collapse. Markets could recover much faster than people expect once there's more clarity about what Democrats actually plan to do.

🇺🇸 Robert Wolf: the DATA CENTER backlash may be one of the things quietly breaking Trump’s coalition Wolf says the post-election “gridlock is good for markets” story misses the point. Since 2008, Washington policy and Wall Street have become inseparable. And AI infrastructure is now becoming a political fight of its own. His read is that voters are increasingly angry about what data centers mean locally: Higher electricity costs. Water use. Pollution. Wolf says the Wild West doesn’t work, but neither do outright moratoriums. That leaves Washington with a problem it can’t really dodge anymore: How do you build the AI economy without making everyone living next to it hate you? @robertwolf32

🇺🇸 Trump's coalition took TEN YEARS to build and ONE ELECTION to fall apart. I spoke with Robert Wolf, former UBS Americas chairman and longtime Obama adviser, just as the stock market was taking a brutal hit. According to the figures we were watching, roughly $2.2 TRILLION in market value had disappeared in just 55 minutes. But Robert was even more interested in what happened at the ballot box. He believes Trump's midterm defeat exposed something much bigger than ordinary voter frustration. The Hispanic voters, young men, working-class Americans and rural communities who helped elect Trump are turning against him. Why? Because they were promised cheaper living costs and NO NEW WARS. Instead, they're dealing with expensive fuel, tariffs, an Iran war and growing anxiety about AI data centers driving up electricity costs. Robert, who's spent decades on Wall Street, thinks the administration has fundamentally misread what ordinary Americans care about. We also discussed whether Trump might escalate the Iran war to rescue his legacy, and Robert offered a rather unconventional alternative. Let Iran collect a temporary toll on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, with the proceeds helping rebuild the country. He believes that could help reopen shipping and bring oil prices down, although the practical obstacles would be considerable. And despite his Democratic background, Robert thinks Trump still has an opportunity to work with the new Congress on healthcare, immigration and AI regulation. Trump's biggest political mistake wasn't simply starting a war, but abandoning the very promises that built his coalition. @robertwolf32

Trumpův stále více polarizující přístup, neustálé politické útoky a tlak na nesouhlasné hlasy údajně odcizily mnoho tradičních a umírněných republikánských voličů. $SPCX Výsledek zdůrazňuje rostoucí frustraci, apatii voličů a vnitřní rozpory, které mohou mít za následek ha
