Wish Upon A Rose #19633009

This is a special piece to celebrate life and love, in regards to pre-celebrate & then celebrate a more than a decade time of marriage of mine! Despite all the sad and painful things happening in this world, I'd like to share a little bit of color and a spark of joy. This piece is: To celebrate love above unkindness, and to accept love as it is. To survive in a commitment, during ups and downs, weak and strong, and still be there. To accept that we are responsible for our own happiness. To embark on a long journey of learning about someone as well as yourself. To accept the fact that, there's no happily ever after situation on any love relationship, but there's happiness shared and resonated. The drawing is my original character, the Heiress of Rose, called Rosemairie. The character and the roses were hand drawn, colored pencils on paper.
