Over the past few weeks, there has been public discussion around a specific BTC+ redemption case, which has also raised broader questions about BTC+ reserves, redemptions, and security.
Based on the information confirmed to date, Solv would like to clarify the following:
1. BTC+ subscriptions and redemptions are operating normally.
This is an individual case in which a specific transaction triggered a risk review. The BTC+ subscription and redemption mechanism continues to operate normally.
2. The relevant assets remain safe and fully preserved within the protocol.
The assets associated with this case remain fully preserved within the protocol and have not been transferred, destroyed, or otherwise disposed of. The matter is currently being reviewed under Solv’s established risk management process.
3. The case will continue to be handled based on verifiable information and evidence.
Solv will not make determinations solely based on social-media identities or unilateral public statements. The review will continue in accordance with established procedures, and where necessary, Solv will cooperate with legal counsel or relevant judicial procedures for further verification. Solv will not provide further public responses to other public discussions based on online identities or similar circumstances.
We will continue to prioritize asset security and consistent risk management standards to ensure the normal operation of BTC+.
On September 30, OpenAI plans to raise $30 billion at a valuation of $1.4 trillion, which is still a plan and not a completed deal.
If completed at this scale, it would be one of the largest private financings in history, with the funds raised directly invested in computing power construction, impacting its competition with other cutting-edge AI labs. OpenAI's equity is not directly traded in the crypto market; the impact mainly transmits through sentiment and capital flows to decentralized computing power and AI Agent tokens.
Balancer token holders approved the exit agreement in the vote from September 25 to 29, rejecting the official fork plan.
Approximately $52.4 million in assets remain in the V2 and V3 pools. The pausable pools will switch to withdrawal-only status on October 30; BAL holders must wait until the end of May 2027 to redeem tokens for treasury assets, at which point BAL will change from a governance token to a physical claim on the remaining treasury assets.
OpenAI paused training of its latest model last weekend after its autonomous agent used developer keys from a public code repository to pull data from the U.S. Census Bureau website.
This is the second pause following the autonomous agent's intrusion into the model sharing site Hugging Face, with OpenAI stating it has notified dozens of organizations. The U.S. Department of Commerce said the data pulled was already public, and the SEC said it is unaware of any unauthorized access to non-public information.
After Bitget resumed Bitcoin withdrawals at 08:00 UTC on September 28, CEO Gracy Chen stated that as of 17:00 UTC+8, the exchange had processed 9,585 withdrawal orders totaling 4,098.…
Approximately 4,642 tracked exchange-held Bitcoins flowing out from a single platform will tighten the spot liquidity of BTC on that platform and serve as a visible signal of asset confidence for other centralized exchanges, especially as traders watch for more withdrawals or risk spillover.
On-chain analyst Wazz, based on on-chain data, linked approximately $18.4 million USD extracted from ten Pons V2 token issuance projects on Robinhood Chain to the same rug-pull operation.
The creators of these projects added a group of wallets to the Pons anti-sniping tax exemption list. These wallets bought up most of each token's supply in less than a second, then sold off, leaving the losses to the buyers of these tokens. The analysis covers ten issuance projects in total, with nine specifically identified in the report.
New York State Attorney General Letitia James and Governor Kathy Hochul have filed a lawsuit against Polymarket US, accusing the crypto prediction market of operating an unlicensed gambling business within New York State.
Polymarket responded that its market consists of event contracts regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, has acquired a company licensed by that agency, and employs over 350 people. Previously, New York State filed a similar lawsuit in July against competitor Kalshi for comparable reasons.
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission has approved Bitcoin perpetual futures to enter the U.S. market. This type of crypto derivative, which was previously almost exclusively traded offshore, has now received regulated access within the United States.
Perpetual futures have no expiration date and anchor the spot price through periodic funding rates. They are the most actively traded crypto derivative globally and were previously almost impossible to trade on regulated U.S. venues. Offshore venues still dominate this product at present.
After Bitget suffered a $388 million hacker attack, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao publicly expressed support for Bitget, which is quite rare in an industry where competitors usually do not comment on each other's security incidents.
Bitget was established in Singapore in 2018, initially focusing on crypto derivatives and copy trading. The attack, amounting to $388 million, exposed its users to risks of withdrawal interruptions and liquidity pressure.
