About OpenAI1.2TPreIPO

OpenAI is reportedly discussing a pre-IPO round targeting a valuation above $1.2T, up from $852B after March funding. Funds would support training, inference infrastructure and expansion. Valuation depends on commercial traction: OpenAI's model spending last week exceeded Anthropic's for the first time since Feb 2024, with Astra at ~19% of their combined total. Sam Altman said an IPO in 2026 is unlikely. Revenue, growth and margins must justify the valuation as compute costs rise.

OPENAI CHALLENGES SECRET APPLE-MUSK AGREEMENT A federal judge ordered X and SpaceXAI to disclose their agreement with Apple after OpenAI sought access to the terms in Musk’s antitrust case. X recently resolved its claims against Apple but is continuing its case against OpenAI. OpenAI argues the undisclosed Apple deal could undermine X’s attempt to seek monetary damages from it. The agreement must be submitted to the court by Thursday. $OPENAI

#OpenAI拟IPO前融资,估值目标达1.2万亿美元 The boss has something to say OpenAI is raising funds again before its IPO, targeting a valuation of 1.2 trillion USD. This is a 40% increase from the 852 billion in March. Altman just said last week that they wouldn't go public in 2026, but this week they started raising money—saying no with words but yes with actions. What is this round of funding for? Investing in model training, inference infrastructure, and the enterprise market.

I'll break down the layers here first This is not the old narrative about whether Nvidia will invest 10 billion But that Anthropic has set Nasdaq as the potential listing venue About: aiming to complete the IPO by October Public documents reportedly delayed until the end of September Roadshow earliest mid-October Maximum financing of 100 billion, valuation around 2 trillion still under discussions #FOMCRateCallThisWeek #AIAnxietyHitsChipStocks #SaudiOilPipelineDamaged

#AnthropicIPOOnNasdaq Anthropic is targeting an October IPO on Nasdaq — filings by end of September, roadshows mid-October. Up to $100B raised at a ~$2T valuation 👀 The timing is wild. Dario Amodei just publicly called for slowing frontier AI development to let safety governance catch up. Altman and Musk both expressed support. Trump pushed back, saying slowing R&D on safety grounds is the wrong move 🤔 So Anthropic is going public while its own CEO is advocating for the industry to pump the brakes. That's either the most principled IPO pitch ever, or the most complicated one 🫠 Nvidia reportedly in talks to anchor up to $10B. If that holds, it's the biggest single anchor commitment in recent IPO history 🔥 Safety governance as a moat or a drag on iteration speed — that's the bet investors are being asked to make here. Does Dario's safety-first stance attract the right long-term capital, or does it spook growth investors? 👇

Imagine being able to buy shares in one of the companies building the AI models everyone is talking about. That’s what makes the idea of an Anthropic Nasdaq IPO interesting to me. We’ve already seen the AI boom create huge value for chipmakers, cloud providers and data-center companies. But Anthropic would represent something different direct exposure to a company actually building the AI models themselves. Personally, I’d be curious to see how public markets would value a business like this. Would investors focus on revenue growth? Claude adoption? Enterprise customers? Computing costs? Or would the AI narrative itself be enough to support a huge valuation? And there’s another side I’d watch closely: AI models are incredibly expensive to build and operate. Fast growth sounds great, but eventually public market investors will want to know what the path to sustainable profitability looks like. If Anthropic eventually reaches Nasdaq, I think the IPO would be more than just another tech listing. #AnthropicIPOOnNasdaq $BTC

In August I called 2026 as peak Anthropic on @YahooFinance. They are getting squeezed by better founded competitors & open source options for enterprise while their executives continue to make perplexing decisions & break trust with partners. An IPO in this backdrop is as reckless as their reg capture strategy.

‘26 may be remembered as peak Anthropic. They are going to get squeezed by compute-supply & customers with cheaper open-source options on prem. My response? Buy $SPCX
