ETH has a different problem, with whale distribution adding to an already weak price structure. This tells us that network activity and token demand are not necessarily moving in the same direction.
The market is dealing with two separate pressures: weakening confidence in trading infrastructure and an unfavorable macro environment.
Until those pressures ease, even fundamentally active ecosystems may struggle to translate usage into price appreciation.

When confidence in a major trading venue is shaken, traders reduce exposure, move capital, close leveraged positions, and become less willing to take risks. That selling pressure doesn't stay confined to the exchange where the problem started.
It spills into the wider market.
There is also a bigger contradiction worth examining. SOL's reported ecosystem activity remains strong, yet its price is struggling below $100.
