Convex only makes sense in the context of Curve. It pooled vote-locking power so users didn't have to lock CRV themselves, which put it at the center of the gauge-voting and bribe game. When that game cools, CVX feels it first. Can a second-layer governance token stay relevant when its base protocol's incentive race slows?
