Has Bitcoin Bottomed? 🤔 My view: Probably not—at least not yet. Here's why: 📉 History rhymes. Previous bear markets saw strong mid-cycle rallies before making new lows. The current rally still fits that pattern. 📊 The drawdown remains relatively shallow. Past bear markets reached much deeper corrections before finding a lasting bottom. 🔄 No major capitulation event. Previous cycle lows were marked by forced liquidations and panic selling. This cycle hasn't seen a comparable washout. 💰 Realized Price still matters. Historically, Bitcoin has often traded near or below its realized price before forming a macro bottom. That level remains an important area to watch. 🌍 Macro uncertainty persists. Sticky inflation, softer risk appetite, and cautious sentiment continue to weigh on markets. That said, there is one major difference this cycle: The ETF era has introduced a new class of long-term holders, which could make this bear market shallower than previous ones. If that's the case, a move toward realized price without a deep breakdown could be enough. For long-term investors, trying to perfectly call the exact bottom is far less important than consistent dollar-cost averaging (DCA) through periods of weakness.
