Data availability is only part of the story for Arweave. Its permanent-storage model targets a different need from conventional cloud storage: preserving information over the long term. The important question is whether developers and applications generate durable demand for that service. Storage economics, ecosystem development, and competition from alternative decentralized storage networks will help determine how sustainable that demand becomes.
