Data availability is one of those blockchain infrastructure problems that becomes more important as applications scale. Celestia focuses on separating data availability from execution, giving developers another way to design modular networks. Yet technical flexibility does not automatically translate into lasting token demand. Adoption by independent rollups, sustained data usage, and competition from alternative solutions will help determine whether the model gains durable relevance.
