$BTC $XAU — Were We Misled by Last Night’s PCE Data?
The market may have misread yesterday’s PCE report.
According to reports, the U.S. Department of Commerce changed the statistical methodology behind several key PCE indicators, materially affecting the reported figures.
For example, July’s expected reading was around 3.3%, but under the revised methodology, the reported figure came in at 3.0% — a 30bp difference.#DailyOrbit
