NEAR is increasingly positioning itself around an “agentic economy,” combining cross-chain execution with AI infrastructure. Its 2026 roadmap puts NEAR Intents and autonomous agents at the center of the ecosystem. The interesting question is whether this becomes meaningful network demand rather than simply a strong narrative. Developer adoption and real transaction usage will be important tests.
