SPARK 글을 진정성 있게 작성해보기 위해서 PENDLE에서 첫 YT 를 구매해봤습니다.
저는 보수적인 투자자에 가까워서 원금 손실이 있는 광전사 스킬인 YT를 선호하지 않는데, PENDLE 엠베서더로 활동 + @sparkdotfi 에 대해 진정성있게 콘텐츠도 작성해볼 겸 조금의 자금을 밀어넣었습니다.
확실히 YT라는 특성상 $500 정도만 사도 거의 4만달러에 육박하는 포인트를 받을 수 있다는 뽕(?)이 있기는 하네요.
YT는 일드 토큰으로 특정 자산을 예치한 행위에 대해서 만기에 얻을 수 있는 이자 혹은 포인트를 미리 구매하는 방식입니다. 즉 만기가 다 되었을때 내가 구매한 원금보다 이자가 높다면 그 이상의 이득을 얻게 되지만, 아닐 경우엔 손실을 보게 되는 경우죠.
그 반대인 PT는 만기때 예치한 자산의 원물을 받아가는 것이 PT이며 보통 원물 - YT를 뺀 값이 PT입니다. 즉 안정적인 이익을 원하는 사람 혹은 특정 자산에 대한 수량 늘리기가 필요한 사람은 PT를 선택하게 되는거죠.
특정 디파이에 예치한 특정 자산(1) = YT + PT 로 나눠지게 되는 것이며 YT는 투입한 원금이 만기에 사라지는 대신 이자만 가져가는 것. PT는 만기에 투입한 원금만큼의 가치를 받아가는 것입니다.
즉 특정 디파이 프로토콜에 불리시하다면 YT를 구매해야 하는 것이고, 그러한 불리시의 정도가 심해져 YT의 가격이 크게 올라간만큼 PT의 가격이 내려간다면? 그 틈을 노린 보수적인 고래들은 PT를 구매해 만기때 자산에 대한 수량을 늘리는 관계성인 것입니다.
