#财报观察员:亚马逊指引不及预期,股价却反涨9%
[Pharaoh's Market Watch]
Everyone is asking Pharaoh, why did Amazon's stock rise so much after hours despite its guidance missing expectations?
Pharaoh says directly, the market isn't playing the "good or bad data" game, but "who admits their mistake first." Amazon is the one leading the adjustment of expectations, and the market applauds.
What exactly happened?
The earnings numbers aren't actually bad, with revenue at 158.9 billion exceeding expectations, and AWS growth returning to over 30%. But what really triggered the after-hours surge was the capital expenditure guidance management. The market had already priced in a $200 billion AI investment scenario for this year, but Amazon basically said you overestimated, next year's capital expenditure guidance is lower than the market's $200 billion expectation. Once this was announced, the stock jumped 9% after hours.
Why is a reduction in capital expenditure considered good news?
Microsoft admitted weakness first, rising 8.5% after hours; Amazon quickly followed. The market's favorite narrative has shifted from "who is winning the AI arms race" to "who starts accounting first and stabilizes cash flow first." Whoever delivers the "slowdown and cash flow stability" report card first, rises first.
What does this mean for BTC?
The trend of tech stocks switching from a "burning cash" mode to a "collecting cash" mode is becoming more obvious. In the short term, Nasdaq's sentiment recovery is good for BTC, which follows the Nasdaq. In the medium term, it depends on whether the "AI monetization" logic of Microsoft and Amazon holds. If it does, this BTC rebound can continue; if it's just a financial game, then the rebound is just a false rally.
Remember, good trades are waited for, not chased.

🔥 Amazon surprised the market with its latest earnings report.
📊 Revenue and profits continued to grow—particularly in the AWS cloud computing division, driven by booming demand for AI. However, the company issued an operating profit forecast for the upcoming quarter that fell short of Wall Street expectations, due to continued heavy investment in data centers, AI chips, and infrastructure to support the AI wave.
💰 Amazon also reported that free cash flow had turned negative as capital expenditures (CapEx) surged to very high levels—a development that has raised concerns among many investors in the short term.
📈 Yet, $AMZN shares rallied strongly following the report. The market believes that today's massive investments will help Amazon maintain its leadership in the AI race, while AWS continues to see growth and demand that exceed expectations.
⚡ This clearly demonstrates that in the stock market, future expectations can sometimes outweigh current results. Investors are willing to accept higher costs if a company has the potential to expand profits in the years ahead.
Do you think AI will continue to drive Amazon to new highs, or is the current valuation already too high?
The results are in, and they settled the question from the other night.
A beat wasn't enough, unless the market could see exactly where the money is going.
Microsoft and Meta both reported, both are pouring tens of billions into AI, and the market split them right down the middle.
Microsoft delivered. Azure grew 43%, beating its own 39-40% guidance, and just crossed $100B in annual revenue for the first time. The monetization proof kept coming: Microsoft 365 Copilot passed 30 million paid seats. Even with 2026 capex committed near $190B, the stock climbed.
Meta got punished. Revenue actually beat at $60.8B, up 28%, but EPS came in at $6.18 against the $7.14 expected, a 14% miss, and full-year capex guidance climbed again to $135-145B. No clean revenue line to point at, just a bigger bill. $XMETA fell more than 8% on the day.
So the divergence comes down to one thing:
· The market isn't scared of AI spending. Microsoft is spending more than anyone
· It's scared of AI spending with nothing visible to show for it yet
· Microsoft ties capex to a $100B Azure run rate and 30M Copilot seats. Meta ties it to a promise
Exactly the 8% swing the options were pricing in, and it all landed after the US close, when traditional markets were shut. On OKX, tokenized stocks like $XMSFT and $XMETA trade 24/7, so the move was live the second the numbers hit, not the next morning.
And the story isn't over. Amazon reports tonight. AWS is expected to grow about 31% to roughly $40.5B, options are pricing a 6.3% swing, and Amazon's own 2026 capex is running near $200B. If that number climbs like Alphabet's did, the same capex-versus-revenue question lands right back on the table.
Microsoft proved it. Meta got knocked down. Amazon is up next with $XAMZN . Which way do you think it breaks, and are you jumping on the print the moment it drops or waiting for the dust to settle?

Big Tech earnings. $BTC 10T on the line.
Tonight + tomorrow: Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon report. Nasdaq looks calm, but everyone’s gripping the armrest.
The real question: is AI actually changing the world, or just the most expensive experiment ever? We start finding out now.
Quick take:
Apple — Boring but steady. iPhone prints cash, AI moves slow. Safest of the four.
Microsoft + Meta — High risk. If Azure misses or capex doesn’t cool, expect instant pain. Meta’s test: can ads cover the burn?
Amazon — Closes it. AWS needs >33% growth or the $BTC 200B infra story gets shaky.
3 things to watch:
1. Capex guidance — Google got slapped -5% after hours for overspending. Say “no limit” and watch stocks bleed.
2. Cloud growth — Azure and AWS prove if AI actually makes money. Slowdown = thesis breaks.
3. Free cash flow — Google went from $25.7B to negative. Microsoft and Amazon also fell off a cliff. Meta still burns $BTC 30B+/q. Another miss here and the AI narrative takes a hit.
Semis feeling it too: SK Hynix, SanDisk, Micron all getting hit.
Seatbelts on. 🚀

AI is no longer being priced as a single trade. Microsoft's cloud revenue crossing $100B delivered a single-day market cap gain that may be a record for any public company. Amazon missed guidance and rallied 9% anyway. The divergence is the signal: markets are differentiating between infrastructure winners and the broader theme, not selling AI wholesale. Capital is chasing execution proof now, not just exposure.
BTC at $64K on a day like this is quietly constructive. Equities in risk-on mode, crypto barely moving. Three Fed members backing hikes, and PCE prints tonight. If that number comes in soft, rate-hike bets crack quickly, and that's when risk assets get room to run. The next 48 hours hinge on one data point, not earnings season.
Not advice, just analysis.

#AMZNMissesButRallies Yes, the post is strong. It has a clear narrative, connects equities, AI, macroeconomics, and crypto, and ends with a balanced disclaimer. It reads like institutional-style market commentary rather than retail hype.
A few tweaks can make it flow even better:
Writing
AI is no longer being priced as a single trade.
Microsoft's cloud business surpassing $100B in annual revenue helped drive a one-day market-cap gain that may rank among the largest ever for a public company. Meanwhile, Amazon missed guidance and still rallied nearly 9%.
That's the real signal.
Markets are no longer buying or selling "AI" as one theme. They're distinguishing between companies that are proving execution and those that are still selling potential. Capital is chasing results, not just exposure.
Bitcoin holding around $64K in this environment is quietly constructive.
Equities are firmly in risk-on mode, yet crypto remains relatively restrained. At the same time, three Fed members have voiced support for further tightening, while the latest PCE data remains the key macro catalyst.
If inflation comes in softer than expected, rate-hike expectations could unwind quickly, creating more room for risk assets to move higher.
The next 48 hours may be driven less by earnings headlines and more by a single macro data point.
Not financial advice. Just market analysis.

AIStoryDiverges: The AI Narrative Is Splitting – Could $ETH Be One of the Biggest Beneficiaries?
The AI sector remains at the center of market attention, but the narrative is no longer as simple as "AI rises, everything rises." The AIStoryDiverges theme reflects a new phase where capital is becoming increasingly selective, separating companies that generate real AI-driven value from those that have benefited primarily from market expectations.
Against this backdrop, investors are shifting their focus toward infrastructure platforms capable of supporting the long-term growth of AI and the digital economy. One of the most discussed names is $ETH.
Ethereum is not only the world's second-largest blockchain but also the foundation for thousands of DeFi applications, tokenized assets, and decentralized AI protocols. As demand for data processing, digital asset verification, and smart contracts continues to expand, Ethereum's role becomes even more significant. Celebrating its 11th anniversary, the Ethereum ecosystem continues to lead in developer activity and decentralized applications, while analysts remain focused on network upgrades and growing institutional participation as key long-term growth catalysts.
Although market volatility remains, many investors believe the AI divergence phase will make capital flows more selective, favoring assets backed by strong technological fundamentals rather than short-term narratives.
AI is entering a new chapter, and so is the market.
Do you believe $ETH will be one of the biggest beneficiaries as AI and blockchain continue to converge, or will capital rotate toward other opportunities?

Microsoft ($MSFT) surged 9% in overnight trading after reporting a stronger-than-expected fiscal Q4 FY2026, with AI and cloud services once again leading the company's expansion
The tech giant posted $90.0 billion in revenue, up 18% year-over-year, while net income climbed 24% to $34.3 billion, highlighting strong profitability despite a competitive market environment
A major highlight was Azure, which recorded 43% annual growth and surpassed $100 billion in annual revenue for the first time. Microsoft's cloud business also remained a key growth engine, generating $59.3 billion in quarterly revenue, supported by accelerating enterprise adoption of AI solutions
Meanwhile, Microsoft 365 Copilot has now exceeded 30 million paid seats, reinforcing the company's position that AI is becoming a significant long-term revenue driver across its ecosystem
The latest results further strengthen investor confidence in Microsoft's AI strategy, with cloud infrastructure and enterprise AI continuing to play a central role in the company's future growth
Do you think Microsoft's AI momentum can continue driving both its stock performance and the broader AI sector?

🚨 Pre-market is drawing a sharp line between Amazon and Apple.
$QQQ is up 1.2% to 692, while SOXX is gaining 4.0% to 525 as AI and semiconductor names lead the move.
📈 Amazon ($AMZN): +11.1%
• AWS revenue climbed 37% to $42.2B
• 2026 capex outlook increased to ~$220B
• Investors are rewarding continued AI and cloud expansion.
📉 Apple ($AAPL): -8.1%
• Guided September-quarter revenue growth of 9%–11%, below expectations of 12%+
• Warned of tighter iPhone, Mac, and iPad supply, along with higher memory costs.
The ripple effect is clear:
🟢 $AMD +4.5%
🟢 $MU +4.5%
🟢 $SNDK +5.6%
Right now, the market is favoring the cloud and AI infrastructure trade over traditional consumer hardware.
The next question is whether Amazon's massive capex plans reignite concerns around free cash flow—or whether Apple can narrow the guidance gap in the coming quarters.

🚨 Same AI boom. Two completely different market reactions. Why?
Microsoft surged because it proved AI demand with signed contracts and a massive backlog. Meta grew revenue fast too, but investors saw soaring AI spending with fewer immediate cash flow rewards.
The difference isn't who has better AI.
It's who can prove AI is already making money.
Right now, Wall Street is rewarding verified AI revenue—not AI promises.
If Meta eventually starts selling its AI infrastructure externally, the market could value it very differently. Until then, Microsoft's contract-backed AI model has the upper hand.
