There's important work the DAO needs done and no one else to do it.
So the DAO overpays a bit.
This is why we need the Op Co & full time employees.
Entropy is asking for over $10M 💰💰💰
Few people know, but there is a company called Entropy within the @arbitrum DAO that has effectively become a “super-delegate,” taking on roles such as:
- drafting and pushing proposals through the DAO, and even executing them directly
- coordinating between delegates, AF, and OCL.
Currently, they receive an average of ~$30,000 per employee per month (with 7 team members). Even now, this budget already seems excessive to many of us, but Entropy is asking to significantly increase it:
$3M per year + 15M ARB in vesting — that’s more than $10.5M over 2 years.
