Artworks 'Cracked', 'Dirtbag' and 'Disaster Suit' were all minted via R.A.R.E Art Labs in 2018 and intended to be editions of 10. Only 6, 5, and 4 exist, respectively, with the unsold remainder locked with the now closed marketplace. They are three of five total artworks that XCOPY minted on R.A.R.E. Once nicknamed "Lost XCOPIES", the efforts and wrapper of @jPeggy295 pave the way for the ERC-20 tokens to be converted into ERC-721s, allowing them to be transacted on current marketplaces. All three transactions take place via @gondixyz, brokered by @eli_schein: - 'Cracked' /6: $440k USDC from anonymous - 'Dirtbag' /5: $420k USDC from @Coldie - 'Disaster Suit' /4: $420k USDC from Coldie‍ Via Coldie: "I acquired Disaster Suit and Dirtbag after they’d gone unsold for over a year... For six years, they’ve been in my care, and it felt right to hand them over to such a perfect steward who can write the next part of their story. 'Brian Armstrong - Decentral Eyes - Variant 01' by Coldie is also acquired by Kanbas for 15 ETH ($39,124 USD). It is one of the artist's long standing 'Decentral Eyes' series, with its first appearance on chain in July 2018 (fittingly the mint month of both XCOPY artworks he sold!) with 'Decentral Eyes - Vitalik Buterin - Variant 01'. 🏦 Gondi Trifecta While it is impossible to top the XCOPY artworks in the lead headline, here is our weekly look at three additional Gondi transactions offering market insight: Beeple Everyday: 'PIG MOON RISING' by Beeple - a 1/1 Everyday - receives a 90k USDC loan with 1-year duration. Mask Exit and Entry: Two 'Masks of Luci' by Sam Spratt transactions happen via Gondi. Each occur during active loans, using the sell and repay function.
