Hey fam - a quick but important update from us. Let’s talk about recent changes in withdrawal times, Instant Withdrawals, TVL fluctuations, and community comms. Transparency always. 👇 ✅Why is STONE → ETH withdrawal taking longer now? EigenLayer recently activated slashing - this doubled their unstaking time from 7 to 14 days. Combined with Lido’s 14-day process, the full withdrawal flow now takes ~28 days. We know - it’s not ideal. So… what are we doing about it? We’ve been actively topping up our buffer pool so users can still use Instant Withdrawal to redeem ETH directly - skipping the batch waiting period. So far, this has covered hundreds of millions in redemptions. Users can verify these transactions on-chain here: 🔗
✅What’s Instant Withdrawal & does it cost anything? Nope - the protocol does not charge fees for using it. You might notice small rate differences - that’s just to prevent arbitrage as rates sync post-settlement. ETH comes directly from our buffer pool. As ETH from Lido comes back in, we continue to settle batches - so users who opt for regular withdrawals will still receive their ETH, just on the delayed schedule. We’re doing everything we can to keep things smooth in the meantime. ✅What about the TVL drop on DeFiLlama? It’s not STONE-related. It came from one of SBTC’s reserve backers rebalancing their BTC. We’re working with the relevant teams and DeFiLlama to restore accurate data
✅Community comms - we hear you. Some of you flagged less-than-ideal experiences in Discord. We’ve spoken with our mods, tightened up processes, and will continue to improve how we support you across all channels. Community is everything. This is a long game. Protocols evolve. Markets shift. We’re here to build adaptive, omnichain liquidity that can handle all seasons - with transparency and community-first values. Thanks for walking this journey with us. Let’s keep growing together. 🫱🫲
