🇺🇸 FOMC UPDATE: FED HOLDS RATES AT 3.75% TO 4.00%
The Fed has kept interest rates unchanged, but the decision was not unanimous.
Here’s what came out of the meeting:
• Rates remain at 3.75% to 4.00% following the previous rate cut.
• The decision was 10 to 2, with Cook and Hammack favoring a rate hike.
• Economic activity continues to expand at a strong pace.
• Inflation remains elevated, leaving the Fed cautious about its next move.
