Funding is more honest: At the start of October, BTC and ETH spot ETFs saw a combined net outflow of over $1.2 billion; on October 7, Bitcoin had a single-day outflow of nearly $500 million, the highest since late June, with BlackRock alone withdrawing over $200 million. Institutions are still retreating, incremental funds haven't arrived, so the rebound lacks a foundation.
