I used to compare $BTC and $SOL like rivals. The more I looked, the less that made sense.
Bitcoin's most important feature is a rule that rarely changes: a 21 million supply cap. Solana's is the opposite: a network built to keep improving speed and throughput through upgrades.
One asset sells predictability. The other sells capability. They answer different questions.
What I still want to see is how each holds up when its core promise gets tested.
