BTC vs ETH: leverage and usage are telling different stories. BTC open interest ended September near its 12-month low, then started rebuilding in early October as funding rose.
Meanwhile, in one recent 24h window, ETH network fees ($435K) topped BTC's ($325.6K), even though BTC is several times larger by market cap. Fees alone don't measure usage, but the gap is notable.
