🚨 CORE isn’t making Bitcoin faster. Don’t confuse the two.
I keep seeing people interpret CORE’s “sub-second transactions” as if Bitcoin itself just got a massive speed upgrade. That’s not what’s happening.
CORE’s fast response comes from Hermes’ pre-confirmation mechanism — basically, a temporary confirmation signal happening on the CORE side. It gives users a near-instant experience, but it doesn’t change Bitcoin’s underlying block-confirmation speed.
