$ETH has a very different setup from the headlines suggest. Friday’s ETH options expiry carries roughly $2.3B in open interest. Put/call OI is around 0.63. Meanwhile, the largest liquidation recorded in the last 24H was a ~$10M ETH position. A lot of positioning is sitting around the expiry. That’s where the next volatility could come from.
