CME has launched an index specifically tracking major altcoins.
It includes $XRP, $SOL, $HYPE, $LINK, $SUI, $UNI, $AVAX and $AAVE.
Why does this matter?
Because altcoins are increasingly being treated as a separate market segment — not simply smaller versions of Bitcoin.
The next question is whether capital will follow the narrative.
