2. What are smart strategies?

Smart strategies are recommended trading bot settings with the best historical performance for a specified period. You can use smart strategies as is or change some or all of the recommended settings.

3. How is backtested APR calculated?

Backtested annual percentage rate (APR) shows how much a trading bot could potentially earn in one year. It’s based on the most recent period and the proposed smart strategy settings. We show the settings with the best APR for this period, among many other combinations tested.

4. Does backtested APR guarantee future performance?

Past performance doesn't necessarily provide guidance for future performance. Market conditions are constantly changing, so there’s no guarantee that the backtested APR can be achieved in the future.

5. How do spot grid bot smart strategies work?

Short-term, mid-term, and long-term smart strategies were backtested over 7, 30, and 90 days respectively. Different terms lead to differences in the recommended price range, grid quantity, and profit per grid.

6. How do spot dollar-cost averaging (DCA) bot smart strategies work?

Conservative, moderate, and aggressive smart strategies indicate how aggressive a trading bot is when executing the DCA strategy. More aggressive settings tend to execute safety orders in smaller price steps. They also have more flexible stop loss conditions and a higher tolerance for the number of safety orders.
