Dith has been my partner in (not actually) crime for the past 2 years and is a unicorn of a human.
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that an appreciation DM would have led to such fun partnership.

gm. It's been a fun 2 years, but it is time: I'm leaving @ProofOfPlay / @PirateNation.
Some thoughts & reflections:
When @fern initially DM'd me at Stripe, I was pretty skeptical about a fully onchain pirate game on polygon (fortunately we migrated to Arbitrum shortly after I joined, gg). I soon discovered what a chad team I'd be building with and I'm grateful to have steered the ship alongside @amittm @mattvv @fern @williamschmitt.
Together we took Pirate Nation from 300 DAUs to nearly 200,000 MAUs, grew the Founder's Pirates to become the # 1 gaming collection by market cap, won onchain game of the year twice, launched the $PIRATE token, and built high performance infrastructure that now powers other top games & applications (look out for the POP arc).
We did all this while playing a good clean GTM game, making bold bets, trying new things, avoiding fads, and working with long term actors & partners.
I'm proud of what we built, and I'll be staying connected as an advisor to the company.
Most importantly I want to thank the incredible Pirate Nation / Proof of Play community. You guys made this so much fun. Being a pirate alongisde you has been an honor.
