Issuance isn't the real issue. ETH becoming a staking derivative is.
That's the conversation we should be having, because it has far-reaching implications—not just for ETH as an asset, but for Ethereum's neutrality, decentralization, and long-term security.
The key question is simple:
Do we enshrine liquid staking tokens (LSTs), or do we not?
Trying to sit in the middle risks creating more uncertainty than either approach. The decision will shape Ethereum's future far more than debates over issuance alone.
