PPI is heating up, yet $BTC is still recovering—why is that?
The US PPI rose by 1.3% and Core PPI increased by 0.7%, meaning inflationary pressures remain significant. However, the US10Y and DXY have declined, while BTC has rebounded toward the $82k level, with ETH and other altcoins also recovering.
A decline in yields could support crypto if it stems from expectations of a more dovish Fed; however, if it is driven by risk-off sentiment, it may not necessarily be a positive signal.
